1. Sponsor
The YHS Free Roof Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Your Home Solutions Inc. (“YHS”), located in Elgin, Illinois.
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the State of Illinois.
Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Eligible properties must be single-family, owner-occupied primary residences located within YHS’s service area.
Employees of YHS, its affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible.
Void where prohibited by law.
3. Entry Period
The Giveaway begins on September 9, 2025 and ends on December 12, 2025 at 11:59 PM Central Time (CT) (“Entry Period”).
4. How to Enter
Entries will only be accepted via the official online form provided by YHS.
Entrants must complete all required fields, including name, contact information, property address, and a written statement explaining why their roof needs replacement.
Entrants must also submit photos of the current condition of their roof.
Limit: One (1) entry per household/address. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a complete roof replacement installed by YHS, including materials and labor.
The prize has a maximum value as stated in these Official Rules. No cash or substitution will be provided, except at YHS’s sole discretion with materials of equal or greater value.
The prize is non-transferable.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
The winner will be notified by telephone within a reasonable period after the Entry Period closes.
If the winner does not respond within three (3) days, an alternate winner will be selected.
The winner must complete and return required documentation, including verification of eligibility, proof of homeownership, and publicity release forms.
7. Publicity Release
By accepting the prize, the winner grants YHS the right to use their name, likeness, images, and story in YHS’s marketing, advertising, and promotional materials, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. General Conditions
YHS reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical issues, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Giveaway.
Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, or illegible will be disqualified.
All decisions by YHS are final and binding.
9. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree that YHS shall not be responsible or liable for:
Any accidents, damages, or injuries related to participation in the Giveaway or use of the prize.
Any federal, state, or local taxes associated with the prize. The winner is solely responsible for such taxes.
Technical errors, including internet outages, server failures, or data transmission issues that may affect entry submission.
10. Governing Law
This Giveaway shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
